  • boss babe jasmyn bennett talks USED fashion and following dreams

I am thriving when I’m thifting. To me, there’s no feeling like finding a treasure I didn’t know I was missing in my life, just waiting for me in the bottom of a bin somewhere. I love pulling together a $30 outfit with stuff I found all over, that together looks effortless and expensive.

Finding ways to be innovative with things that already exist is my art and the way I express myself.

  • Does Conscious Consumerism really work?

‘Conscious consumerism’ is on the rise. According to data analytics company, Neilsen, 2018 is ‘The Year of the Influential Sustainable Consumer.’ T...
  • are you masturbating or sadsturbating?

We’ve known for a while now that masturbating is a completely normal, healthy, and awesome practice. Doctors speak to the multitude of health benefits we get from it (we’ll talk about those later on), and almost everyone does it--95% of men and 89% of women, according to WebMD. Some (including me!) call it a self-love practice.

    And then there’s sadsturbating.

  • #howsyourblood - normalizing period talk

At dylan, one of our core values is to normalize pussy talk. Having a period is normal. Talking about it should be normal too. To start the conversation, I chatted with Lauren Billie (CEO of Allbodies) and Ruby Balthazar (a detox expert and health educator) about their relationship to their blood. I also interviewed myself because I wanted to talk about this.
  • birth control basics - what's up with the 4 most popular BC methods

With over 15 different types of birth control options ranging from the pullout method (don’t count on it!) to vaginal inserts that stay in the body up to 12 years, deciding on a pregnancy prevention method is almost enough to send us into celibacy (100% effective, but we’re 100% kidding).
  • sippin' on that good good...drink for my vagina

In honor of the launch of our new panti, DRNK IN LOVE (the bikini cut to slay them all), dylan wanted to find out just how drinking alcohol affects our favorite body part and what (if anything) is good for us to sip on in honor of our vaginal health. Can drinking too much beer give you a yeast infection? Can drinking pineapple juice really make you taste better down there?
  • we heard you - and now dylan panties are in an all-new fabric

When our first panti dropped we got lots of feedback! You loved the shape and feel of LOVE ON TOP, but the material wasn’t compressive enough for you.

We heard you and went searching for a fabric that would give you what you need—breathability and comfort with just the right amount of compression.

  • femtech: the new way men are profiting from women’s bodies

    Period trackers. We’re into them.

They seem helpful. They’re a nice way to become more aware of your cycles, your hormones, and your emotions.

    All good, right?

    Maybe not.

Period and ovulation tracker applications, aka menstrual surveillance apps, are part of the growing ‘femtech’ industry, which has been developed under the pretense of improving women’s health. But what seems like an industry developed for women, may just be another space for men operated businesses to make money from women’s bodies.

  • self-love spotlight: yin yoga for moon cycles (or whenever)

If you’re like me, the idea of putting on tight pants and getting sweaty for a hot vinyasa class sounds like the worst when you’re bleeding, bloating, and low-energy. Even traditional schools of yoga, like Ashtanga Vinyasa, encourage women to take time off from a vigorous practice when they’re on their moon cycles. And yet, all those benefits we get from yoga (stress and pain relief, flexibility, awareness of our emotional body) are the best when we’re more emotionally and physically sensitive.

That’s why I love Yin yoga for moon cycles.

  • dylan creator crystal truong talks break ups, women entrepreneurship and her fave panti

Through dylan I want to give space for other women creatives to create. I like bringing other women creatives on to the team, like yourself, to be a part of something bigger and to make a difference in how we as women entrepreneurs and creators are represented. We’re working on building a community of people who want to support and empower women entrepreneurs.
  • how is my birth control changing my body?

Hormonal birth control changes our natural hormonal balance. Birth control tricks the body into believing its pregnant thus producing unnatural cycles. We’ve been told by doctors and big pharma that this is totally safe for us, but some studies show hormonal birth control is doing some pretty wacky, and sometimes worrying, stuff to our bodies.
